Follow these steps if you require to Start the Windows Update service manually:

1. To start the windows update service again, click on this link Start Windows Update Service and next, click on the Run button.
2. If the User Account Control (UAC) message appears, click on the Yes button in order to allow it.
3. Wait until this window closes by itself.
4. And click on the OK button. The Windows Update service has been enabled.
